Indie Week 2023 Festival in London, ON: Lineup, venues and how to get early bird tickets

[A report by Elisa F.G. – Ac]

A new multi-day festival is putting down roots in London, Ontario, in November. With over 50 artists slotted to set it off, VENUExVENUE is looking like a good option for any music fest fans wanting to squeeze in one more before the snow drops.

Presented by Indie Week, VENUExVENUE runs November 9, 10, 11 2023, with performances spreading across downtown London throughout six different venues – London Music Hall, Rum Runners, The Richmond Tavern, Fitzray’s Restaurant & Lounge, Poacher’s Arms and The Good Foundation Theatre.

Cory Crossman, Director of the London Music Office says “VENUExVENUE has chosen London as their hub to build from. This says a great deal about the talent, venues and burgeoning music industry in Canada’s only UNESCO City of Music.”

Some of London’s top emerging artists are hitting multiple stages as well as headlining party bands, My Son The Hurricane, a 14-piece brass shop “funk beast,” U.N. Jefferson, New Jersey-based Ska-Punks Catch 22 and Canada’s favourite ska-party band The Planet Smashers.

“We are ecstatic to welcome VENUExVENUE’s latest announcement, showcasing a huge selection of London and regional talent alongside international touring artists,” says Crossman.
