Curious About How Music and Radio Work? Check Out This Industry Showcase in Toronto this Friday

Sticking your nose into a new industry is both terrifying and exciting, and any sort of help can be a godsend. If you’re like me, you also like having fallbacks in case things go awkward, which is where distractions like drinks and music come into play. Well luckily, The Cameron House has exactly the fix at this Friday’s Radio Industry Showcase.

Featuring a slew of radio professionals and talented musicians, Friday’s programming has plenty to offer for fans and industry hopefuls alike. And with the structured evening featuring drinks and tunes on hand, you can be sure that the networking opportunities will be nice and smooth. Or of course, just head out for the show anyway! The night features Julian Taylor, The Command Sisters, Don Campbell, and more.

It all goes down this Friday night at 8PM at The Cameron House at 408 Queen St. W. Cover charge is $6 – and make sure to seek out the back room! The artist and industry lineup can be found below (and full disclosure, Alan Cross is planning to attend too):

Mathew Kahansky

Once upon a time, Mat studied journalism. That's how he became Alan's one-time intern and current-time contributor, and the rest is ongoing history - get it? Mat also studied biology and music, so he has a strangely specific knowledge set that doesn't really apply anywhere other than useless fun facts. He currently works for a music tech start-up in Halifax, and is a big fan of the em dash.
