Inspiral Carpets to Release First New Studio Album in 20 Years

Having signed a deal with Cherry Red, a label that knows a thing or two about how to market older acts, Inspiral Carpets will release a self-titled album this September.

The package will also include Dung 4 and Cow, a couple of cassette-only demos that have been unavailable for years.

The full story at Louder Than War.  Meanwhile, let’s enjoy some “Commercial Rain.”

Wonder what style they’re going to go for. I love their later few albums a lot more than their early sound. Exciting though.
