Internet in the Car Will Be 100% Normal in Seven Years

Always-on Internet in your dashboard?  It’s closer than you think.  This promises to be one of the biggest innovations in the automotive industry since…what, injectors replaced carburetors?  The car stereo revolution?  Air conditioning?

It’s certainly going to have an impact on radio.  Read this from AutoGuide.com:

London-based Telefonica Digital predicts that by that time, 90 percent of vehicles will have their own connection. Roughly 10 percent of vehicles today are connected to the Internet according to the report. Having a separate data connection for your car seems like a luxury today, but that won’t be true very much longer.
