Introducing Newsic: Customizable Music News for Your iPad

I’m a big fan of news aggregators that turn RSS feeds into pretty magazines.  My favourite is Zite but I also use Flipboard.

Now comes Newsic, which is kind of like an all-music Zite/Flipboard hybrid.  But unlike other aggregators, there’s a greater granularity in its settings.  Instead of getting news on stuff you don’t care about, you can zero in on just the artists and just the sort of news you want.

Newsic curates dozens of the best music news site (including this one, I’m pleased to say!) to create a truly customizable information stream.  Setting things up takes a little time, but once you’ve tweaked everything in Settings, you’ll be fine.

Give Newsic a try.  It’s free in the App Store.  What have you got to lose?
