Iron Maiden Fans May Want to Avert Their Ears to This Version of “Run to the Hills”

The Guilty Pleasures describe their music as “yacht rock,” the kind of stuff that works well with the older cruising set.  One of their crowd-pleasers is this version of Maiden’s “Run to the Hills.”

How weird is it?  Imagine if Michael McDonald-era Doobie Brothers covered it.

Props for the arrangement, but that is truly terrible. I would quit playing guitar/music if I had to play this kind of music.

Even my parents would hear this and cringe.

Pablo Cruise used to call their stuff "yacht rock" as well. Yuck.
