Is anyone from the music industry in the Epstein files? Yes. Thanks for asking. [UPDATED]
As private individuals sort through the latest dump of Epstein files–some three million documents–they’re turning up some interesting things. They’re finding unredacted and poorly redacted material while also converting seemingly unreadable files into images and videos.
Trump is mentioned the most with over 35,000 entries. Also included are Andrew formerly known as Prince, Sarah Ferguson, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, Sergey Brin of Google, Bill Clinton, Stephen Hawking, RFK Jr., Howard Lutnik, Peter Thiel, Mark Zuckerberg, British politician Peter Mandelson, Dr. Oz, and a ton of others.
What about people from the music industry? You bet. Although he’s out of the business, Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Records, is listed. So is Jay-Z, Pusha T, Michael Jackson, and Mick Jagger. There’s also a weird bit about the Grateful Dead, but they were victims of a ticket scam.
Also in the documents is Casey Wasserman, the head of Wasserman Music Agency, a company that represents Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Imagine, Dragons, Lorde, Kacey Musgraves, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Travis Scott, Tyler, The Creator, Jack Harlow, BLACKPINK, and Skrillex, among others. (On the sports side, Wasserman represents Conor McDavid and Auston Matthews. Brad Pitt and Adam Sandler are also on the roster.)
Wasserman was found to have exchanged a series of emails with the evil Ghislaine Maxwell. When that came out, Wasserman was compelled to release a statement in which he said, “I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell…I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.”
This won’t cut it with clients. Billie Eilish already fired Wasserman after allegations of “serial cheating” came out. Wasserman was accused of having multiple affairs with staff members.
This week, Chappell Roan fired Wasserman.

Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast is also gone.
The band Wednesday at this to say.
Other artists bailing on Wasserman.
- Dropkick Murphys
- Beach Bunny
- Chelsea Cutler
- John Summit
- Sylvan Esso
- Water from Your Eyes
- Weyes Blood
- Alicia Bognanno from Bully
There is now building pressure for Wasserman resign, not just from clients but from people working at the agency.
