Is this the electric guitar of the future?

A few years back when Muse played Saturday Night Live, bassist Chris Wolstenholme had a weirdo instrument that looked like an iPad embedded in a guitar body. to this day, I have no idea what he was playing. But maybe it was something like this.

Guitar builders Devil & Sons has created a guitar they call the iCaster. It kinda looks like a Strat but with an iPad installed right in the body. For more details on an interested take on guitar design, go here.

    Matt Bellamy used to play something similar as well.

    And then there’s this Ibanez from around 2015.

    It failed spectacularily.

    But I want to find one.
