Is this the electric guitar of the future?

A few years back when Muse played Saturday Night Live, bassist Chris Wolstenholme had a weirdo instrument that looked like an iPad embedded in a guitar body. to this day, I have no idea what he was playing. But maybe it was something like this.

Guitar builders Devil & Sons has created a guitar they call the iCaster. It kinda looks like a Strat but with an iPad installed right in the body. For more details on an interested take on guitar design, go here.

  • Matt Bellamy used to play something similar as well.

And then there’s this Ibanez from around 2015.

    It failed spectacularily.

But I want to find one.
