Is this the ultimate dinner party playlist?

Now that we’re getting into the holiday season, you might already have plans to have people over for a meal. A new UK survey (okay, it’s one of those patented British ads that masquerade as a scientific study) says it has come up with the ultimate dinner party playlist.

Lakeland, a site that deals with food, analyzed 250,000 songs on 2,000 different Spotify playlists. These are the songs that came up the most on bespoke dinner party playlists. This is the top 25. The full list can be found here. Knock yourself out.

  • It is the musical equivalent of tryptophan, if that’s what you were going for.

  • Has anyone compiled an actual playlist of these songs on Spotify or Apple Music. Not that I see.
