It looks like the Soundgarden-Vicky Cornell war is over. Bring on the new music!
The three surviving members of Soundgarden have been warring over the ownership of some vocal demos left behind on a laptop by Chris Cornell. There have been suits and countersuits, deep chills and promising thaws, and alternatively reasons for optimism and pessimism.
This Instagram post from the weekend looks pretty, pretty good.
If this holds, we’re going to get more Soundgarden music featuring Chris Cornell‘s vocals. Let’s hope so.
