Although his body wasn’t found until the morning of April 8, 1994, the coroner’s best guess is that Kurt Cobain shot himself sometime on April 5.  While detective Tom Grant and the Cobain housekeeper searched for him, Kurt was lying dead in the room above the greenhouse in the back yard of 171 Lake Washington Boulevard in Seattle.
