Music History

It was 40 years ago yesterday that the public saw Keith Moon for the last time

On May 25, 1978, The Who gathered at Shepperton Studios in London to perform “Won’t Get Fooled Again” for inclusion in the documentary The Kids are Alright. The fans in attendance had no idea that this would be the last time Keith Moon would play in public. He died of a drug misadventure on September 7. (Thanks to Dave for the link and the reminder.)
