It’s official: Mark Hoppus of blink-182 is cancer-free

Mark Hoppus has had a helluva year. Months ago, he quietly began chemo treatments for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma Stage 4-A, the same type of cancer that struck his mom. The diagnosis required a long series of chemo treatments, resulting in all the not-so-fun stuff that happens to the body, including losing hair.

But good news! Just like his mom did, Mark has beaten the cancer.

His hair is growing back, too. But it’s coming in white.

Yay, Mark! Looking forward to seeing you and the band back in action.
