The last sales/streaming report of the first half of 2026 has arrived via Luminate. Here’s where we are at the six month mark.,
- CDs sold in Canada last week: 28,715 (Down 4.6% from last week. This breaks a weeks-long upward trend.)
- Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 35,268 (Down 0.5% from last week)
- CDs sold in Canada so far this year: 731,318 (Up 1.3% from a year ago. Sales continue to trend up.)
- Vinyl sold in Canada this year:871,245 (Up 5.7% from this time last year.)
Streaming numbers:
- Songs streamed in Canada last week: 3,030,174,195 (Down 0.9% from a week ago. This is the eleventh week in a row where weekly streams exceeded three billion.)
- Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 74,255,857,354 (Up 3.4% from last year.)
