J-Pop Singer Becomes the First (?) Artist to Release an Oculus Rift Music Video

Oculus Rift, the much-hyped VR technology has been in the news a lot this year, especially after the company was purchased by Facebook.  The consensus is that there seems to be a lot of promise in the technology, but that it still has a long way to go before it’s ready for prime time.

Along comes Kumi Koda, a J-pop singer who used OR gear to create this music video. Watch a trailer for it below.  More details at The Verge.
