Jack White’s surprise NO NAME album gets an official release

Last month, shoppers at Third Man Record Stores in Nashville, Detroit, and London, found that an extra album had been stuffed into their shopping back. It was packaged in a plain white sleeve with the words NO NAME stamped on the label. No tracklisting, no liner notes of any kind.

It turned out that this was a surprise Jack White album. Fans were encouraged to rip and upload the record for everyone to hear.

As of tomorrow, NO NAME (that’s the title we seem to be going with) will be available on streaming services as of tomorrow. If you want a physical vinyl copy, it will be available at indie record stores, too.

We now have a tracklisting, too:

  1. Old Scratch Blues
  2. Bless Yourself
  3. That’s How I’m Feeling
  4. It’s Rough on Rats (If You’re Asking)
  5. Archbishop Harold Holmes
  6. Bombing Out
  7. What’s the Rumpus?
  8. Tonight (Was a Long Time Ago)
  9. Underground
  10. Number One With a Bullet
  11. Morning at Midnight
  12. Missionary
  13. Terminal Archenemy Endling

This is the artwork, by the way.
