Speaking of painful experience, the infotainment systems in Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles suck. They’re slow, don’t hold a connection with smartphones (if they can connect in the first place) and don’t always work the way they should. Customers have been bitching to the manufacturer for years.
Jaguar Land Rover is apparently listening. Apple CarPlay finally made it to the latest iteration. And the company has teamed up with the University of Cambridge to create a new touchscreen interface that, er, doesn’t require touching. It’s all about gestures.
