January will be the fifth anniversary of David Bowie’s death. There’s a special celebration planned.

it was Monday, January 11, 2016, that we awoke to the news that David Bowie had died the previous day, just two days after his 69th birthday. Five years on, longtime Bowie keyboardist Mike Garson is holding a celebration called “…Just for One Day.” Part of the proceeds will go to Save the Children, a charity that was near and dear to Bowie’s heart.

The list of guest vocalists is pretty amazing: Ian Astbury (The Cult), Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), Trent Reznor, Gavin Rossdale (Bush), Gary Oldman (yes, the actor), Corey Glover (Living Colour), and more to be announced.
