Johnny Cash in concert? Yes. He’s back. Sort of.
[A tale of technological resurrection from Elisa F.G. – AC]
“Apparently Johnny Cash is back from the dead.” Half asleep, Alan’s email was alarming. It took one quick (and blurry) search to realize he was kidding – and only then did zombie Johnny Cash seem like a cool idea.
“Hello, I’m Johnny Cash” is what the people would need to hear in order to believe in J.R’s second coming. As hard as Santa Claus fans have worked to ingrain in us that believing is seeing, in this one particular case hearing and seeing will be necessary for believing. Anyone could look like The Man in Black, but the vibration of his legendary, bellowing, baritone voice would be damn near impossible to pull off – there can only be one.
After all the books and scripts have been written – the tributes, awards, inductions, Johnny Cash – The Official Concert Experience promises a perspective on the legend, from an angle never seen before. With narrations by John Carter Cash, (Cash’s only son) the celebration and collaboration with Cash’s estate, is calling the man in black to the stage one more time.
Fallsview Casino Resorts Avalon theatre hosts the ultimate concert experience March 2024, with a live band splitting vocals with Johnny Cash “himself”, alongside rare, never before seen footage. A multi media design with state-of-the-art technology is giving fans the next best thing to an IRL Cash concert.
“It’s going to be a show for the ages,” says Cathy Price, Niagara Casinos VP of Marketing “This tribute to the Man in Black will have the crowd on their feet singing to all of Johnny Cash’s greatest hits. The intimate setting of the Avalon Theatre makes it the perfect concert event”.
Tickets for the Avalon performance recently went on sale and are selling fast despite the March 2024 date. We’ve waited and wished to see Johnny Cash this long, what’s another 10 months?
