Juggalos vs. Hipsters: It’s WAR in Portland

If you’ve ever watched Portlandia with Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen, you’ll know how preciously hip it can be in that city. Yes, it’s satire but all satire is based on some sort of truth.

North Portland is apparently very hot right now with plenty of gentrification and rising housing prices. This has annoyed a group allegedly comprising of Insane Clown Posse fans–Juggalos–who have been leaving threatening flyers in the neighbourhood.

This bit of vigilantism is getting a little scarier day by day. More can be found at KOIN-TV. I can’t wait to see what Carrie and Fred make of this one.
