Just in Time for Summer: Canadian Band Beer

Plenty of foreign acts have their own brands of beer (Pearl Jam, Grateful Dead, Iron Maiden) but outside of a brew by Swollen members, we haven’t seen any hoser band branded suds.  But that has changed.

Exclaim! reports on four BC breweries who have teamed up to produce Canadian Band Beer such as D.O.Ale, Said the Ale (cf. Said the Whale) and Pink Mountaintops (er, Pink Mountaintops).

And there’s an interesting backstory to how this all came about.  Read about it here.  (Thansk to John for the tip!)
