Justin Timberlake Plugs MySpace TV

As an investor in the company, JT is motivated to bring sexy back to MySpace.  Good luck with that.

He trotted out at the end of a Panasonic presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas yesterday in sort of a “one more thing” conclusion to the TV maker’s pitch.  They and MySpace have created some kind of partnership in a bid to make watching TV more social–whatever that means.

Anyway, it’s called–surprise–MySpace TV and it’ll be available on the next version of Panasonic’s VIERA line of HDTVs.  (By the way, the current thing in TVs seems to be WiFi connectivity; 3-D is so 2011.)

MySpace’s image needs some serious rehabilitation.  My people tell me that there were giggles in the crowd whenever the word “MySpace” was mentioned.  Limp Bizkit may have a better chance at a comeback.

Still, stranger resurrections have happened.  Watch this interview with JT (courtesy Mashable.)
