The Kind of Music You Like Could Indicate Your Attitude Toward Adultery

The British love their surveys–and here’s another one.

People who admitted to adulterous relationships were quizzed on their musical preferences by IllicitEncouter.com, a let’s-have-an-affair website.  In other words, this is social research masquerading as a commercial for this service. But never mind.

Of those who admitted to cheating, 41% said that their favourite music was rock.  Way down the list were pop music fans (16%), country folk (11%), classical aficionados (7%) and hip hop (just 2%).  In Ireland, though, country was the top cheatin’ music with 33%.

The survey also found that 70% of Britons would not date someone who had musical tastes different from their own.
