So What Kind of Music Are People Pirating These Days?

Why anyone would bother to pirate music anymore is beyond me. If you have access to 35 million songs through the free tier of any streaming music service (except Tidal, of course), why go through the trouble? But while piracy is a diminishing problem, it’s still nevertheless a problem.

Digital Music News monitored the big piracy sites and came up with this list of the ten ost pirated albums:

  1. Frank Ocean – Blonde
  2. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart – July 2, 2016
  3. NRJ 300% Hits 2016
  4. Kanye West – The Life of Pablo
  5. The Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart – June 17, 2016
  6. Suicide Squad: The Album (OST)
  7. Kendrick Lamar – To Pimp a Butterfly
  8. 100 Disco Hits 90s [2016]
  9. Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool
  10. Ed Sheeran – X

What about the most-pirated MP3s? There’s a list for that too.
