Kirk’s iPhone is Missing

No, not that Kirk.  Kirk Hammett of Metallica. From sister publication Geeks&Beats:

If you find an iPhone with around 250 cool guitar riffs on it, please return the phone to Kirk Hammett.

Seems like the Metallica guitar God has lost 250 guitar riffs that were on his iPhone. The iPhone that went missing, had riffs that were ready to be used for the bands 10th album.

Hammerett revealed on James Jasta’s podcast,  “I put riffs on my iPhone, but something very unfortunate happened to me about six months ago. I lost my iPhone [containing] 250 musical ideas. And I was crushed. It didn’t get backed up,” He continued: “I can only remember, like, eight of [the ideas]. So I just chalked it down to maybe it just wasn’t meant to be and I’ll just move forward with it.”

There’s more–and you can hear Kirk talk about the situation himself–here.
