Kitchener to Host Big Music Fest Called, Er, Big Music Fest

Kitchener, Ontario’s McLennan Park will be the site of Big Music Fest, July 11-13.  Here’s your just-announced lineup:

Friday, July 11th 

Lots of new and breaking bands.  Admission will be free.

 

Saturday, July 12th

Bryan Adams

Styx

Collective Soul

Moist

 

Sunday, July 13th

Aerosmith

Slash

Big Wreck

Kim Mitchell

Pigeon Park

 

There are more acts coming, too.

Tickets will be available online at BigMusicFest.com or by phone at 1-866-943-8849 on Friday, March 28th 2014 at 10:00am. A single day ticket will be $69.50, while a limited number of two day passes will be available for $99.50. VIP single day tickets will also be available for $129.50.

  • This is happening in my neighbourhood. While Mount Trashmore (as we affectionately call it – It used to be a landfill) is a nice location, it’s also jammed in the middle of a densely populated suburb with no realistic parking anywhere close.

    But more importantly… The lineup is a little 1998-ish. It’s disappointing to not have any newer, more relevant bands on the list.
