All right. It’s official. The ‘Way Home’ Festival will make its debut this July 24-26 in Oro-Medonte, on the northwestern shores of Lake Simcoe.

Grammy sweeper Sam Smith, Hozier, Vance Joy and the Decemberists have been added to the line up that was leaked last night.

Shannon McNevan

Ashely Capps of WayHome.

The founder, Shannon McNevan, said that the Burl’s Creek site is the largest festival site in all of Canada now and described it as “Molson Park on steroids.” They’re going to do their best to recreate and expand the Bonnaroo experience and sense of community. The phrase “the scale of Coachella” was thrown out, too.
