You Know That Homeless Guy Miley Cyrus Used on the MTV VMAs? Guess Who’s Wanted by the Cops?

First rule of breaking probation: lay low. And whatever you do, don’t show up on national TV with Miley Cyrus. Apparently, though, Jesse Helt didn’t remember that rule when he appeared with Miley at the MTV VMAs on Sunday.

Turns out that ol’ Jess is a wanted man stemming from a 2010 break-and-enter in Salem, Oregon. He’s also in trouble for smoking dope in contravention of his probation.

Jesse seems like a nice enough guy, though. The 22 year-old’s plea for the homeless on the telecast was one of the few highlights of the night. Maybe once he gets through these problems he’ll be able to achieve his dream of being a model.

Is it just me or does Jess look a little like Chad Kroeger?
