LadBaby wins UK Christmas #1 for the fourth year in a row singing about sausage roles

Another year, another UK Christmas #1 for LadBaby. And yeah, they did it with another parody song about the joys of eating sausage rolls. Silly, yes, but proceeds from this single are going to UK food banks, so that’s something. The last time anyone had four UK #1s in a row was the Beatles from 1963, 1964, 1965, and 1967.

Second place went to “Merry Christmas” from Elton John and Ed Sheeran. Then came “Last Christmas,” the perennial favourite from Wham, back up by “All I Want for Christmas” by You-know-who in fourth.

And for the second year in a row, The Kunts reached number five with their latest anti-Boris Johnson song.

  • Based on the headline, I was trying to figure out what roles a sausage could have? Featured role in an Oktoberfest sandwich? Supporting role in Pigs in a Blanket?

    Merry Christmas…
