Lady Gaga’s dog walker is out of the hospital minus part of a lung

On February 4, Ryan Fischer was walking Lady Gaga’s three dogs on a residential street in Hollywood when a white BMW pulled up. A couple of guys got out of the back, snapped up two of the dogs, and shot Fischer four times in the chest.

The good news is that after about a month in hospital, he’s been discharged–minus part of a lung. The damage caused by the bullets prevented one from fully inflating and instead kept collapsing. The only way to fix that was to excise the damage.

The physical wounds will heal. The mental trauma will take more time.
