Last Night’s Music Tech Event Was a Huge Hit!

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to our second @MusicTechTO event. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet lots of cool music/tech enthusiasts and experts.

VinymnkyI’d like to thank our new partners, Vinylmnky, for helping us make this event possible. These guys are very cool — their mission is to share their love for new music by engaging and connecting listeners with the artists behind the music. Scroll down for more on Vinymnky, including how you can take advantage of a one-time 20% discount when you become a Vinylmnky Tribe member (use offer code Techmnky).

sheridan copyWe have also joined forces with Sheridan College and their M.A.S.S.I.V.E. (Music Applied to Stage, Screen, and Interactive Visual Environments) program. Check it out.

And thanks to our renewed partnership with Steam Whistle, we had lots of ice cold beers at the event!

So remember: if you want to network with Music&Tech Industry veterans, you should join this group. It’s free to join and to attend the events. More to come!

See you next time!

The Music Technology Group is excited about our new sponsor and partner: Vinylmnky.  Vinylmnky exists to share their love for new music through unique and engaging experiences. Their goal is to re-engage listeners to the artists behind the music by delivering a Breakthrough Record of the Month that includes a personal touch add-on from each artist; to members of their Tribe. Their January Breakthrough Album of the Month is Dopamine by BØRNS; a debut album that climbed to the top of the Billboard Rock and Alternative Album charts with electro-pop vibes that reverberate throughout the album with songs such as “Electric Love.”

This month Vinylmnky Tribe members will receive Dopamine on their doorstep along with an exclusive signed lithograph. Be on the lookout for New Artist Spotlights from The 1975’s sophomore album and Jack Garratt’s debut album, available for purchase in February.  Become a member and enjoy the benefit of discovering new music, participating in impactful music experiences, and connecting with rising artists on a more personal level.  For Music Technology Group attendees only, take advantage of a one-time 20% discount and join now (use offer code Techmnky).  Keep up with Vinylmnky on Instagram, Twitter , and Facebook .”
