There are a lot of negative numbers from Luminate with this week’s Canadian CD and vinyl sales report. But wait until next week when the stats for the new BTS album are tallied.

CDs sold in Canada last week: 29,253 (Down 7.7% from last week.)
Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 32,300 (Down 15.9% from a week ago.)
CDs sold in Canada this year: 318,062 (Down 2.2% from a year ago)
Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 391,441 (Up 8.1% from this time last year.)

Streaming numbers:

Songs streamed in Canada last week: 2,881,111,186 (Down 1.5% from a week ago)
Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 31,872,803,446 (Up 3.4% from this time in 2025)
