I Like This: Powell. SOMEONE SIGN THEM! NOW!

Has anyone heard of this band from Louisville, Kentucky called Powell? It consists of three brothers–Casey, Conner and Taylor Powell–who come at you like a cross between the Black Keys, Kings of Leon and Cage the Elephant.

I’ve recently been exposed to three songs that appeared on a 2015 album called Palbum. I can’t honestly remember that last time I’ve run into an indie band that is so fully-formed with tons of radio-ready material. So why haven’t more people heard of them? Who’s going to sign them? And when? Shit, there should be a bidding war for them.

Take a listen.

Finally, here’s a two-year-old documentary on how the band came together.
