I Like This: Street Pharmacy (And Check Out This Guy’s Story!)

Street Pharmacy is the vehicle of Ryan Guay of Welland, Ontario, a guy who went psychotic as the result of adult-onset chickenpox that led to encephalitis (yes, chickenpox can be VERY serious for adults). It wasn’t until he had gone through a bunch of hospitals and psych wards that an MRI led to a correct diagnosis of his condition.

As you might guess, the dude’s brain chemistry irrevocably changed. But as a side effect, Guay noticed he had an enhanced ability to write songs.   Read more about Ryan’s medical odyssey here. Meanwhile, Street Pharmacy’s Pharmanomics album is out today. Here’s a sample.
