Lineup announced for the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Legends event

Another tranche of artists will be honoured with the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame at the Meridian Arts Centre in Toronto on October 17. The honourees are Gino Vanelli, Triumph, Andy Kim, Jane Siberry, and Ian Thomas.

The evening will include Tom Cochrane (introducing Triumph), kd lang (introducing Jane Sibbery), Murray McLauchlan (introducing Ian Thomas), and Ed Robertson (introducing Andy Kim)

The show will also feature performances from Chantal Kreviazcuk, Kevin Drew, Charlie Edward, Clerel, Housewife, JJ Wilde, Kairo McLean, Kirk Diamond, Noah Derksen, RÊVE, and Sam Drysdale. Then there’s the specail performance by Phil X with inductee Rik Emmett. Tara Sloane will host the evening.

There will be a second event in Montreal on November 17 at Espace St-Deni in Montreal. That one will feature Francophone and Indigenous performance and will include honours for François Cousineau, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Michel Pagliaro, and Florent Vollant. Tickets can be found here.
