  • Damn it. This is fucking great. Can't believe NIN still manages to excite me. (Let's pretend With Teeth never happened.)

  • Holy crap…. I love it. Sounds like Trent picked up a bunch of Covenant CDs…..

  • Heh. For context, my favourite Covenant song:

    Covenant – Monochrome

Unfortunately not a popular band. Northern Light was their major label debut (Sony) and they were immediately dropped. Shame, it was such an awesome album. Bullet and Call the Ships To Port were the biggest songs.

Ellen Allien did this awesome cover of Bullet.

Finally an earlier Covenant song that people may have heard before and was a pretty big club hit is Dead Stars. Pretty sure I heard it on a CSI episode a long time ago.

  • Great track, good to hear some of the HTDA sounds creep into the NIN. Can't wait to hear the rest…in September? Not hard to see a major label is involved still releasing albums the way they did 20 years ago. Everyone know the album is done now, why are they waiting? That thing should be streaming and ready for downloads now. Trent is probably laughing at the labels as more than likly he got his money up front and he knows perfectly well people are going to steal it.

  • Whatcha talking about? With Teeth is a great Album! Not his best, a little bit safe but still a unique rock record.

Trent has range this song has a bit of a "Memorabilia" feel to it… Art work on the website is interesting the smeared teeth from the downward spiral seems to made an appearance again.

    Can't wait!

  • I should give it another chance. I was just so hyped for it at the time, and it felt like such a disappointment in direction. Previously I'd just loved every NIN album more than the last, including Fragile over The Downward Spiral.
