Listen to the First Playable 3D Printed Record

If you’ve been following tech developments, you’ll know that a lot of people are really high on 3D printing. Using a special plastic-like raw material, special machines are now able to recreate 3D working models from raw specifications.  In other words, the Star Trek replicator is here.

Inevitably, someone thought it would be cool to try to print a vinyl record.  The company behind this took their creation to SXSW in Austin this week.
