Looking to Fly to Europe? Introducing Jay Z Airlines

If you’re looking for a last-second getaway to London or Zurich this summer, why bother with normal first class airline travel when you can fly private? Sure, there are many options for private jet transportation, but there’s only one company backed by Jay Z.

He’s one of the investors in JetSmarter, a new startup that will whisk One Percenters across the Atlantic in style. And you’re in luck, rich people, because the company is giving away free flights this week.

At the moment, anyone in Europe can book a flight Uber-style from London, Zurich and Nice at no charge. The only hitch is that you have to fly by August 14 and you have to pay the company’s annual “access fee” of about $5000. But that apparently comes with unlimited access to private flights.

That’s actually a pretty good deal. A flight to Heathrow in steerage is at least $1,000 round trip.  Five grand for unlimited trips? A bargain.

If you’re interested in taking a quick hop to London for dinner and drinks in Knightsbridge, download the free JetSmarter app–it’s free–register as a user and then give ’em a call about where and when you want to go.

Interesting point: the other main investor in JetSmarter is the Saudi Royal royal family.
