Three days a week, I have to work in an open concept office environment which is great for mixing, but not so great when it comes to stray audio. Yes, you can wear headphones but they’re not always convenient. What if there was a way to use a speaker system without having the audio creep into a co-worker’s personal space?

The Soundlazer Snap isn’t perfect, but it might help.  Built using parametric techniques, it focuses sound into a narrower beam than regular speakers, making whatever is coming out of them less intrusive. More details at GizMag.
