Sonos, the home speaker/home audio company (my home is filled with their gear) is very committed to providing its customers with the best sounding audio. And not just music, either.

For Christmas 2018, Sonos has released a 90-minute film of “the best-sounding Yule log” of all time. All the cracks and pops are here in wonderful high-fidelity. Plus you can chose to listen the sound of six different types of kinds of wood burning: hardwood, softwood–even some pine cones.

Here’s how it was done.
