Madonna finished her tour with a show in front of 1.6 million people in Brazil

Madonna has played some big shows in her four decades–there was that crowd of 130.000 in Paris back in 1987–but nothing like this. Imagine 1.6 million people on Copacabana Beach singing “Like a Virgin.” It looks like this.

This isn’t the biggest concert on record, though. Rod Stewart performed in front about four million people on New Year’s Eve 1994.
