Massive Attack has built a 14,000-person steel venue for just two gigs

Every artist constructs some kind of custom sound system when they head out on the road. Massive Attack sees your bespoke PA and raises you an entire custom venue.

Two shows are scheduled for tonight and tomorrow (March 1 and 2) in Bristol, England, in a specially-built concert venue they call The Steel Yard. With a capacity of 14,000 people, they’re essentially building a temporary arena. The whole thing will be dismantled after the gigs are over.

Er, wow.
