Meanwhile, from the World of Oasis

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a book on Oasis–and we’re still waiting.  However, a new book called Confessions of a Qantas Flight Attendant: True Tales and Gossip from the Gallery does offer up an interesting Oasis tale.

According to author Owen Beddall–a retired Qantas flight attendant who has seen his share of airborne weirdness–Noel and Liam once offered  him  £1,000 if he’d let them smoke dope in the lavatory. Although he was all for it, the rest of the cabin crew outvoted him and the Gallagher brothers had to rely on alcohol to get them through the flight.

On another occasion, it’s alleged that Liam Gallagher threatened the pilot of a Cathay Pacific armed with a scone.  Yes, a piece of pastry.  Ooo.  Scary.

On a more conventional note, Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green fashion line continues to do well.  It has this feature in GQ.  Hey, I’d have one of these coats.

  • Ian Brown got jail time for sarcastically threatening a stewardess with plastic cutlery. I wonder how Liam got away with it.
