Metallica is Giving Something Away for Free? Really?

Yep. They’re offering up a September 21, 1986, show at the Hammersmith Odeon in London–the Master of Puppets tour–for a free download at  It’s also one of the last shows with bass player Cliff Burton.  A week later, he’d be killed in that bus accident on a Swedish highway.

They also have some fly-on-the-wall video from the Death Magnetic sessions.  Maybe you can spot where it it all went wrong.
