Metallica introduces a podcast

This past week (August 12) marked the 30th anniversary of the release of Metallica’s black album. Along with the obligatory reissues and special editions, the band has unveiled a podcast that promises to offer a deep dive into the band. The first episode–which they call Volume 1 and one of eight–will look at that black album.

What can we expect? Interviews with the band and their friends. demo recordings, “candid conversations,” and more. Everything is set to debut on Friday (August 20).
