Michael Jackson: Cunning Linguist. Sort Of.

Quechua is one of many languages in danger of extinction. Although its still spoken by millions of people across South America–it the language of the Incas–there are signs that it could be in trouble as young people eschew it for English, Spanish and Portuguese. This cover of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” by 14 year-old Peruvian Renata Flores Rivera may make Quechua cool again for some kids. (Via the BBC)
