Microsoft Makes Another Play for Windows in Your Dashboard

Microsoft is already in the dashboards of many vehicles. Ford’s SYNC system, for example, has Microsoft code as its guts. Kia, BMW, Nissan and Fiat have similar arrangements. Now, though, Microsoft wants Windows–specifically the Metro interface–to be more front-and-centre in coming vehicles.

The Verge reports on what Microsoft is testing in the real world right now.
