Mike Taylor of Walk Off the Earth has died

Mike Taylor, the keyboardist for Burlington, Ontario’s, Walk Off the Earth, died in his sleep Saturday. The band says it was of natural causes.

Mike (also known as “The Beard Guy”) was a founding member of the band.

Walk Off the Earth was scheduled to perform a New Year’s Eve gig alongside Burton Cummings and The Sheepdogs in Niagara Falls Monday night. The status of their appearance is unknown.

The band posted this Christmas Even on their Instagram feed.
