Moby's love of vintage drum machines reminds me of the musician BENGE (Ben Edwards). Mostly known as performing on recent John Foxx albums under the title John Foxx and the Maths. Using only vintage analog synthesizers, Moog synths, drum machines etc. he seems to specialize in keeping these old machines current in his and Foxx's music. A 2008 album " Twenty Systems " featured twenty tracks made on 20 different synthesizers from the years 1968 – 1988.
