Mogwai Now Has Their Own Whiskey

Although many artists have their own beer and wine, band-branded spirits aren’t all that common–but they do exist.

• Marilyn Manson had his own absinthe (Mansinthe)
• Kerry King of Slayer has a whiskey called Coldcock.
• There’s a Motorhead vodka.
• Diddy has a line of vodka through Ciroc.
• And of course, there’s Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo tequila.

Here’s one more to add to the mirrored shelves behind the bar.  Mogwai, the Scottish post-rock band, has just lent their name to a line of scotch.  It’s apparently insanely strong.
